You should try and select a bridal entrance song or piece of music that you can connect with.  It may help listening to the music by closing your eyes and imagining walking down the aisle.  If you are having bridesmaids or flower girls walking in before you then we would advise having a different song or piece of music for them.

The groom applies red vermilion powder to the bride’s hair parting and gives a Mangalsutra (a gold and black beaded necklace).  Generally Bollywood music is played during this time and we can normally incorporate two songs. 

Normally accustomed to being one of the most emotional parts of the Indian wedding ceremony, as the bride bids farewell to her loved ones, traditionally emotional songs are played.  However, with brides now seeing this part of the ceremony as being the start of a new journey in life you may wish to choose a happier upbeat piece of music. Remember it’s about you and what you feel comfortable with.
